Though there's a flash of something as there's suddenly a large thud that falls behind him. The pirate however, seems unperturbed like he has to take care of this every day. ~~Which, all things considered, wouldn't be a huge surprise, right?~~

There's only a soft 'hup' as he finally lands on the deck of his ship, a piece of tentacle laying a fair ways away from it.]

That was a hell of a wake-up call.
